Stain-blocking primer is essential
Water stains will bleed through standard primer and paint. We use Zinsser BIN shellac-based primer on all water-stained surfaces to permanently block the stain before painting.
Matching existing paint color
We brought a paint chip from the existing exterior to the paint store for a spectrophotometer color match — the repaired areas are indistinguishable from the original.
