About This Project

This Framingham rear entry mudroom had no storage — just a bare wall. We designed and built a full mudroom storage system: a bench with cubbies below, coat hooks above, and upper cabinet storage with doors. Everything was painted to match the existing trim.

What Made This Project Successful

Designed for real family use

We sized the cubbies for backpacks, designed the bench height for easy boot removal, and positioned the coat hooks at both adult and child height.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the standard bench height for a mudroom?
